Jon

Jon Winter was born in rural South Dakota in 1990. He grew up near Wessington, South Dakota, on the family farm and was introduced to the outdoors at a young age by his father and three older brothers. Because Jon was born with Spina Bifida, his family actively helped him become involved in all things possible. Jon enjoys wheelchair basketball and being active.

 

American Mobility Project is getting Jon a track chair. His manual wheelchair is not up to the challenge of getting Jon where he wants to go when it’s time to go hunting, be out in nature, be more independent, and all the things he desires to do. Congratulations to Jon on your new chair; as we know, it will give you more mobility.
